Will not open or close by button or remote , but latches ok , fuse checked, also where is the motor that lifts and closes the rear tailgate please

Hello, The motor is behind the trim in the rear of the vehicle behind the last side window. The motor is likely at fault here, but you have to test for signal at the motor when you press the raise/lower buttons from all three positions plus the remote.
