Brake wear light comes on, but dealer says brakes are ok

My first instinct is that the brake pedal should not easily give all the way to the floor area. However, it's also not normal to keep putting pressure on the brake pedal, increasing it, causing the pedal to drop. Is your dealership aware of the concern you have, with the low pedal? The pad wear light can be an issue with a brake pad sensor or the wiring for the sensor. I would say that if you approach your dealership service department with this exact question, you will get a straight answer that you can rely on after inspection.
