I have a 2007 Mercedes ML 350 W164 with a rough idle. Runs fine at higher RPM. VVT Valve Solenoid was replaced by repair shop with no improvement. VIN 4JGBB86E97A277296 Engine Vin 272967 30 636998 This engine SN is not one that has the known Balance Shaft Gear Failure. If the AC is on full blast smooths out the rough idle would that point to the Secondary Air Injection Control Valve (EGR Valve)? Parts # 002-140-7460. If the AC on full blast doesn't smooth out the rough idle would the sequence be: Check all vaccuum lines Install new Spark Plugs Install new Ignition Coil
