About 50% if the time the sunroof doesn't work at all. The other 50% of the time it won't close all the way- from tilted position or open all the way (the sliding function barely works at all- it will only slide open about 3 inches). Also, when I try to close the sunroof (from tilted position) it will most often (95% of time) close and then re-open. I have read that I may need to check the track or reset it- I've tried resetting which didn't help- I'm not sure how to check the track. I'm hoping this will be a fix I can take care of rather than take it to a shop for repair. I'm also aware the track may need to be lubricated. I have found some videos that would help me do that- but again, I'm not sure how to even check the track and what I would be looking for so I know if something is wrong/needs adjusting. I bought it used and this is new to me.
What makes this problem better or worse?
No rhyme or reason- turning the car off and back on helps with the sunroof not working at all
