where is the crankshft sensor located?

It is located on the right rear side of the engine just below the valve cover. It is a little tricky to get to on a ML but it can be done. You'll have to feel for it because you won't be able to see it. You'll need a 1/4" drive E6 torx socket, swivel, and a long extension.
