Driver's power seat

I have a 2000 ml320, my seat did the same. I had my son look under the seat and a wire was loose> I connected right back in . it worked! they say not to put anything unders the seat whatsoever i guess it is delicated and known to have that problem. hard to reach my 9year old had to get wire and plug back in
