Hello, On all vehicles 1996 and newer, the OBD2 code P0300 means that your engine is experiencing multiple misfires. In explanation, multiple random misfires means that several or all of your cylinders are not firing (burning fuel and oxygen) at random intervals. This causes your check engine light to illuminate, possibly reduced engine power, rough idle/acceleration, and possibly hesitation and stalling. Diagnosing the issue could be as simple as finding that you have a clogged fuel filter, a large vacuum leak, or the spark plugs need to be changed, but you may even find something as serious as a faulty lower plenum (part of the intake manifold). I recommend diagnosis by a professional if there is nothing obvious and noticeable. The parts for your vehicle will become costly very quickly if you attempt to remedy the situation by process of elimination.
