Shifting Problems on ML320/1999?

What is your question?

My MB will not shift into 2nd or 3rd gear lately. I has 170,000 miles. When taking off, sometimes it wont go into 2nd or 3rd. How can this be fixed? Thanks

Do you have any warning lights on? This vehicle doesn't come with a dipstick to check the transmission fluid level. There is a dipstick tool to check it, if the level in the transmission fluid is good it will need to be diagnosed by someone who knows European vehicles.
