car will not shift manually

This could be a shifter issue but can also be as simple as a stop lamp switch. Hit the brakes and see if you have brake lights. If not take a look at the stop lamp switch right behind the brake pedal. See if it's stuck. Very easy it to replace as it's one connector and twists right out. Alex
