What is your question?
Car checked by mechanic and brakes are fine. The dealership won't supply new module which requires special programming and cost is $2000 at dealership. Any ideas what this is about? 92K miles. Thanks.

Hello, If you replaced the brakes, or had the brakes replaced, the brake pad wear sensors have to be replaced as well. They are one-time use, and once they are ground down to expose the bare wire, they tell you the brakes are bad no matter what. You should only have two of them, and the aftermarket sensors are a few dollars and a few minutes to install.
