What is your question?
I need brakes for my 2004 Mercedes E500 and a local shop quoted me $754 for the job. Thats the front pads and rotors. I don't know if this is a good deal or not. Any advice would be great

Hello, It's hard to say if that's a good price or not until you call some other local shops near you to get competitive quotes. Just makes sure you have "apples to apples" comparison on parts and labor performed, and you'll get a price quote to compare. Remember that there are differences in labor and materials -- some repair shops may use only Mercedes-Benz genuine parts, some may use aftermarket. Some may have more experienced technicians for more costly labor in more costly geographical areas. Since you are in the Chicago area as defined by your zip code, I would expect that labor costs would be somewhat higher in an urban setting. Good luck!
