What is your question?
Happens when I try to open my convertible top. Started when I had a tire blow-out. The blown out tire was put in the trunk and the trunk lid was slammed shut.
How long has your 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 had this problem?
Ever sense a tire blow-out was stuffed in the trunk and the trunk lid was slammed shut.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your E350's trunk open light stays on even when the trunk is closed, it could be due to a misaligned trunk latch or a damaged trunk sensor caused by slamming the trunk shut with the tire inside. The force might have jarred the latch, misaligned the mechanism, or damaged the sensor, making it read as open even when closed. Try gently pressing on the trunk lid to ensure it's fully latched. If that doesn't help, you may need to adjust or replace the latch or sensor. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
