How do I know if my transmission was before or after 9/3/2008?

Hello, you would have to find our vehicle build date or information off of the transmission's data tag. Have the repair shop you are working with obtain the data. If you are thinking of doing the work yourself, this would be a good indicator as to whether you have appropriate knowledge and skill to do the job.
