Yes, there is FINALLY a recall in the works for this issue. My dealer/mechanic just contacted me this morning to say that a public announcement is imminent. I had to have the intake manifold on my 2008 CLK 350 replaced last fall and found many online entries from others with similar issues, so it's about time Mercedes takes responsibility. I was told that refunds are on the horizon for those of us who have already paid for the repairs, and of course, the Recall itself is pending for those who have not already addressed the problem.
So where is this recall? I cannot find any recall, so please furnish the recall information or remove your comment it just wasted my night!
My car was recently totaled in a collision and I'm now driving an E350 coupé so I have not followed up on the recall. I've been dealing with an entirely new set of issues like medical challenges and insurance companies. I'm afraid you'll have to consult your local service department.
I have a 2006 CLK 350 and I'm having the same problem and same codes. The check engine light just came on today. Do you know who, I can contact in reference to the recall and if the recall is covered for my year? Thank you,
