Is it possible to improve the ride quality back to when the car was new?

The front struts were replaced a couple of years back. I'm wondering whether replacing the bushings and other parts in the suspension can get the car's ride back to what it used to me. It is a great car and I don't really want to trade it in for a new car. What seems to make the problem better or worse? Feel every bump in the road. How long have you had this problem? For the last 4 years or so.
