My temperature gauge

Hello, I don't believe the issues are related, and the temperature gauge you are seeing is not relating to engine temperature. The engine operates around 180-200 degrees F, so 103 would not be an issue. The ambient temperature sensor is likely faulty, or the circuit has issues. It may play a role with the A/C noise since the A/C control module will compare outside temperature to the cabin temperature to determine how hard to work the air conditioning system.
