The camshaft position sensor is located in the right side/passenger side cylinder head at the front, less than .5 hour to fit but the sensor is pricey about $150, (try www.rockauto.com) This engine has hydraulic adjusted valves and a timing chain so service is really reduced to keeping the oil and filter changed, air and fuel filter changed and changing the spark plugs along with ensuring fan belts and coolant hoses are all OK.
