What is your question?
After a winter snow storm the car wouldn't start. It wanted to turn over but wouldn't. I replaced the battery first, then the crank shaft sensor, next the alternator, the spark plugs, then last was the fuel filter and fuel pump. After changing the alternator the car started but only ran for about 3-5mins and died out. I let it sit for maybe 45mins, it started again. I drove it for 20min, then it shut off at a traffic light.
How long has your 1997 Mercedes-Benz E320 had this problem?
Few weeks

Hello, I understand you've done your best to replace a bunch of parts in the hopes of resolving the concern. But, I submit to you that it's probably more expensive and time consuming to replace all those parts without any benefit, really, than it would be to spend some money on a trained technician to figure out what's really happening with your E320. If it cranks but won't start, your concern will never be with the alternator or battery. Those components only affect when there is no battery power nor charging of the battery. A crankshaft position sensor is almost never faulty. Spark plugs are great for maintenance, but did you use original equipment Mercedes-Benz parts that are properly gapped and installed? How are the ignition cables? Are you certain the plugs are firing? Fuel pressure, air to the intake, ignition spark, engine timing, engine compression and exhaust flow need to be checked, not to mention emissions controls components. Something will be apparent once testing is performed. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
