What is your question?
I have a 1997 Mercedes Benz E 320. My problem is that my AC does not work. The reason is because there is no power going to the Air Compressor. The air compressor still works great when jumped by electric but shuts off as soon as the jumper cables are pulled off. I replaced the climate control panel but the red light on the EC button or the on and off switch for the Air Compressor is still lit so the control panel is not the problem. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I wonder if there is a problem with the "low pressure switch" jumper the low pressure switch and see if the air condition works with the low pressure switch jumped. The low pressure switch prevents the compressor clutch locking up/ operating the compressor if the system has a low refrigerant charge thus preventing the compressor from catastrophic damage. The switch is in the driver's front of the engine compartment in front of the washer bottle. I think there are two fuses #7 (20 Amp) and #4 (10 Amp) protecting the system.
