I have 1997 MB e320, it had same problem,the cluster not work, now I find a shop to repair this problem, the shop call speedo 55 check address at 12535 E. Whittier blvd. #C Whittier ca. 90602 tel 562-464-0699 if you not live at CA, you can take out cluster send to them to fix it, I live at LA so I drove over there takes about a day to fixed it, about $350, when you send them should be cheap than that.
