It's best to have proper test and repair instructions. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... I had the same problem. For me, it turned out to be a simple fix. The blower fuse blew out. But the fuse is not in the fuse box under the hood, but somewhere behind or within the dash. My mechanic charged me under $100 for the repair.
