Trans will not shift into high gear and engine light/cluster out

the transmission shifts normally until the last gear and will not shift also the cluster is randomly going out with a engine dianostic light.

the first step is to get the check engine light diagnosed. the free scan offered at parts stores will not really help you, as you will need someone with the MB software. suggest a good local MB shop to diagnose this for you.
