how do you remove the mercedesbenz flat hood emblem on my cls550?

These emblems are usually retained by either two or three posts, that push into retainers, or also with double sided tape (adhesive). Usually, a plastic pick or trim tool will remove them. Hopefully you are installing a new one, as the old one may break during removal.
