It sounds like what you are describing is the parking pawl holding the weight of the vehicle, so when you shift into drive or reverse it "pops" while trying to release under pressure. In order to eliminate this as an issue, the following instructions will allow the parking pawl to function without excessive pressure: 1. Pull into your drive in either direction and hold the brakes. 2.Put vehicle in neutral, and press the parking brake as far as you can. 3. Slowly let off the regular brake to make sure the car does not roll downhill. 4. Put the car in park without pressing the brake pedal. 5. next time you start it, and put it in drive or reverse, do so before you release the parking brake. Did it jolt?
Dear Sir, Many thanks for your kind reply yesterday, Please guide me on following; The supply voltage of the control unit is too low. (Battery Voltage 14.41V) Control unit N10/2 (Rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module) is not transmitting data on the CAN bus. Control Unit A1 (Instrument cluster is not transmitting data on the CAN bus. Does i have to have to change mission sensor?for this purpose have to dismantling the whole mission? Please guide me it is serious problem or minor?
I can't tell you what should be changed, the vehicle needs further diagnosis. There has to be a reason the A1 AND the N10/2 aren't getting signal. This might just be field mice chewing on wires. Is it a problem? yes. The rear SAM depending on model can control everything from your trunk release to turn signals etc. Have it diagnosed and find why you have no canbus connection and low voltage. Look in the sides of the trunk, behind the wheel well covers and see if you've got signs of wildlife ...
