no leak known/seen but having to add oil

Hello, There are two possibilities. It could be consuming oil through the mechanism of blow-by, meaning the engine rings may need to be replaced. The other option is that the oil is leaking into the plastic trays underneath the vehicle, and the oil is blowing onto the underbelly of the vehicle as you drive so you never actually see the leak. Funny enough, Mercedes is well known for the second option.
