What is your question?

driving at about 55 mph and all of sudden quit running, and it would not restart. let set for about an hour and it restarted and ran about 3 miles and quit again

What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, you are losing fuel delivery or ignition spark most likely. Testing will need to be performed as the failure occurs to find out what important element is missing, and what is causing that.
