How to fix a seam in the top that is glued

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I did check with a specialist who said it can be done but I need to find a shop with a hot press machine to reglue it! No idea why MB does this when others stitch their tops.

My top was completely undone at the top portion. It costs at least 1k to fix and takes a special mercedes glue. Instead, I used fabric tape and two sided tape on the inside. That closed it from the inside. Then i proceeded to put a layer of guerilla tape on the outside and it looks completely fine. Not bad whatsoever. Just make sure you put many layers on the inside and the tape should totally hold. whole job took about 20 mins and an extra helper. Top functions properly also and tape stays put.
