What is your question?
When you first start car you don't hear it but once it reaches a little over 80 degrees you start to hear a lopping sound like a diesel motor. Can't hear it while car is in motion and sound is loudest when in gear sitting still. It quiets down when put in park but can still hear it. If you listen by the oil pan you can really hear the sound. Car runs great. Has normal power idle seems fine. This all started 2 days after an oil change at jiffy lube.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When its hot outside and car temp reaches around 80
How long has your 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 had this problem?

It's been going on 9 months -- since the oil change? If there is an internal engine issue, damage could have already occurred. I would recommend having a proper oil and filter change done by a Mercedes-Benz specialist who will ensure use of the proper quality of oil filter and grade of oil. Then check to see if the noise remains. A further test may be required by a trained technician. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
