srs light is staying on

SRS, or "Supplemental Restraint System", is a light that stays on when there is a fault found in the restraint system. This includes your air bags, sensors, and seat belt pretensioners. Get your system checked immediately -- with the light staying on, your restraint system (air bags, etc) will not function in a collision. This is a major safety issue.
