What is your question?
2004 C320, base model; I went for state inspection and the guy pointed out a fuel leak, growing puddle beneath the right rear tire where fuel is slowly bubbling out of the top of what appears to be an inch long metal ferrule where a hose should be attached ... but there is no hose, just fuel slowly bubbling out the top of the metal tube that is less than a pencil diameter and looks like it is on top of a rectangular box-shaped object. Can you tell me what this is and if a hose should be connected to this, and where the other end of the hose might connect? This leak apparently just started ... as there was no puddle of gas in the parking lot where the car was before he pulled it into the station/bay, and I have not noticed any puddles while parked at home previously. Any ideas/suggestions? Thank you, Al
