I purchased this car used approximately 18,000 miles ago. It now needs brakes (front), and being told that with the thickness of the new pads, the caliper hits the inside of the rim / wheel. What can I do? Can't afford new wheels & Tires. AMG 15" now.
What is your question?
They told me that the pads were probably halfway worn when the wheels were installed, which is why they fit then, but don't with new pads. I can't afford new wheels & tires just to put new pads on. This is my wife's vehicle and I need to get fixed as soon as possible, as it's down right now. Any suggestions?
