I took mine in too and they said the same thing. My service advisor forwarded an email from MB corporate that stated that it’s only affecting luxury vehicles with the SiriusXM and that a “remedy is under development.†Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later...fingers crossed.
They have a temporary fix for now, I took my car in yesterday. They basically disable the SiriusXM but you get all your other functions back.
How did they disable the radio? Any issues since then?
