Nickels and dimes do not even come close more like hundreds and thousands
That's a bit of a loaded question. There are several factors that go into predicting future maintenance and repair. 1) European cars typically have a more aggressive maintenance schedule compared to domestic / asian cars. And cost of repairs are typically more expensive. 2) What is the vehicles past maintenance history? And we're not talking just about oil changes. Poor maintenance history will come back to bite you especially in the higher miles. 3) Do you perform preventative maintenance ? Meaning when a repair needs to be done, do you always do the minimum or do you perform any other recimmended repairs. Always doing the minimum repair is always a recipe for a nickle and dime vehicle. Bottom line if you've owned this vehicle for a while then you should be able to answer this question honestly yourself. If you're considering buying this vehicle get the DOCUMENTED VEHICLE HISTORY and then make and informed decision. Typically after you've had it inspected by a repair shop. Hope this helps,
Not if it is well taken care of. I have worked on many of these cars, and I own a c230. I have seen both sides of these vehicles.
