That said, I can help you figure it out. On your C280, Bank 1 is the side with cylinder #1, which should be the passenger side. Bank 2 is the driver’s side. The downstream O2 sensors plug into connectors mounted along the frame or transmission tunnel. If the connectors aren’t labeled, trace the wires from each sensor back to their respective plugs. You can also unplug one sensor at a time and check live data with a scan tool—if the wrong bank goes dead, you’ve got them swapped.
