Everyone saying that mercedez is awful to fix, cause so expensive. Anyone experience this problem with their car.

I had a similar shifting issue and suspected low fluid level, but the system is sealed so I took it it to an import shop for a fluid and filter change. I do this myself on other cars, but this was a sealed system. The shop found a low fluid level and two leaks (electrical connector and a mechanical pass through). Total bill was $369 and it works fine again. Glad I didn't wait since it could have lead to more damage.
