You may have to jack the engine up to clear the frame and get the oil pan off. Don't use too much sealer on the gasket, it gets into the oil pump screen. Take it slow and careful - it's not a war and you don't have to get hurt.
(1) Does all the stuff topside have to come off? (air cleaner box, manifolds, wiring, fuel system, etc.)? (2) Also, while the oil pan bolts are pretty evident (i.e., they're all around the edge of the pan) there's a whole gaggle of other bolts sprinkled all over the pan itself-- so, are those removed at the same time to let the pan come off? (3) Do you know any online 1-2-3 instructions for R&R of this pan? I'm in a state of shock thinking how many things might have to come off... but maybe it's a lot simpler. Thanks in advance anyone anyone anyone...
