How do I complete a drive cycle for my 2012 Mercedes C250?

I do not have any secondaries or any issues with the car. A new engine got put on the car and i have been driving it over months and just hit a little above 3K miles and still the only monitor that is not ready is the Fuel monitoring system. I have taken several long trips just in hopes that the monitor will clear. but still the same issue.
What makes this problem better or worse?
