Fuel filter location

What is your question?

Replaced the wife's fuel filter for her 2005 C230K last week without problems. Found the filter where it was supposed to be LH (Drivers) side just forward of the axle. Pulled the 2007 up on the ramps to accomplish the same on my car and the fuel filter is not located there. Checked the RH side since I was under the car but could not locate the fuel filter anywhere back there. Do you have any ideas please?

The filter should be mounted in the left rear, where you were looking. Follow the fuel lines from the back to front.

It's under the back seat on the driver side.
