What is your question?
I replaced the mass air flow sensor, but I still get the same engine code. Could there be another issue?
As I stated before it could be a problem with the internal driver in the ECM. Would need qualified tecch to inspec t and are you saying you LOOKED at the wiring or did you verify continuity with a DVOM and inspect for grounding problems and insulation rub thru problems? Connector at the sensor could have bad prongs or a prong pushed back into the connector. Have it running and then wiggle the wires/connector and see if light flickers. Step by step by step......
I did verify continuity with a DVOM, inspected all insulation and prongs on sensor and ecm connector. I took apart the head of the ecm connector and inspected all connections. All looked and tested good. So you are saying a faulty internal driver in the ecm could give a single check engine code 0110 related to the combination MAF/IAT and nothing else?
Yes it could. As I said, a qualified tech needs to look at it and attach some testing equipment and pinpoint the problem. Sometimes you can get a bad new part, also. The CEL is for the entire circuit.
Is there a way to check the sensor so as I can eliminate any questions of a faulty part? The actual codes is 0110 which corresponds to the IAT.
I checked the wiring between the sensor and the ecm. It all test fine. What else might it be?
