Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like you're dealing with an intermittent issue with your gauges, which can be pretty tricky. Given that it's happening with multiple gauges, this could be related to a wiring issue or a problem with the instrument cluster itself. Since the problem is intermittent, it might be a loose connection or faulty component that's cutting power to the gauges when it moves around. A few things to check: 1. **Instrument Cluster Connections:** There could be a loose or corroded connection behind the instrument cluster. The wiring might be making intermittent contact, causing the gauges to stop working. Sometimes, just removing and reseating the connectors can help with this. 2. **Grounding Issues:** Electrical grounding problems can cause intermittent electrical issues like this. Ensure that the ground connections near the instrument cluster are secure and free from corrosion. 3. **Voltage Regulator:** Some Mercedes-Benz models have a voltage regulator in the instrument cluster that helps manage power to the gauges. If this part is malfunctioning, it could cause the gauges to flicker on and off. This would typically require replacing the regulator or the entire cluster. 4. **Fuse or Relay:** Even though your battery is fully charged, check for any faulty fuses or relays that might be supplying power to the cluster or related sensors. 5. **Speedometer Sensor or Cable:** A malfunctioning speed sensor could be causing the speedometer to act up, and this might be linked to the other gauges. Since your car is relatively low mileage, this might just be a wiring or sensor issue, but it could also be a failure of the cluster itself. I recommend getting it checked out by a professional who can run a diagnostic on the instrument cluster and related components to narrow down the issue.
