What is your question?
I have a 2.6L engine and it accelerates good once it gets going except when I drive it in the mountains and around the curves. Just has no Umpa. Is it the altitude or just not enough horsepower ?

According to Wikapedia the car makes produces 160 hp or 122 kW at 5800 rpm (with catalyst), this is adequate but the car itself is heavy. Get a friend to press the accelerator pedal to the floor with the engine off, ensure the throttle opens fully, if not ensure the floor mats are not preventing the throttle from opening fully. A normally aspirated (non turbo) engine may loose about 8% of horse power per thousand foot of elevation.
