My 2006 Tribute will run but not go into ANY gear. Not any of the 5 speeds or in reverse ? Is it the clutch or the gear box ? How much to repair ?

I am 75. Driving to the Post Office and had to stop at stop sign, took right & tried to change gears & suddendly had NONE, none of the five speeds & no reverse !! SO it now sits two blocks from my home & I don't know what to do !! It will still start & run ; just not move at all !!

Hello, if you have a manual transmission that shifts into the appropriate gear but the clutch will not effectively "engage" to allow acceleration, then you have a clutch concern -- either a fluid issue with a hydraulic clutch issue, or a clutch disc issue.
Too hard to know, but kind of sounds like a hydraulic concern since it happened all at once.
