So my 05 Mazda Tribute isn’t firing it’s turning over but not starting we tried starter fluid and tried the fuel intake restart and it’s still not firing? What would I need to look for to see why gas isn’t getting to the engine.
What is your question?
It’s cranking but my dad says it’s not firing like it’s not getting a spark and he says he don’t think the spark plugs are bad.
Hello, "not getting a spark" is different than "gas isn't getting to the engine".
Engine performance diagnostic testing is needed.
First, you could have a fuel delivery problem. You could have a lack of ignition spark. Engine timing could be disrupted. Engine compression could be compromised. Proper air intake to the engine could be interrupted or too plentiful. Emissions controls component could be malfunctioning or preventing important elements from reaching the engine. There could be an antitheft concern triggered. Testing hands on is required to find out what is happening.
