Is your anti theft system engaged? There is passive anti theft on this that utilizes an encoded key. Try a different key, and maybe it will crank. Beyond this, ensure your vehicle is in park, or if it is a manual transmission that your clutch is engaged. Testing may be required to ensure that what you think is happening is indeed happening (park / clutch).
