My airbag light comes on periodically.

I have a 2001 Tribute and it appears that when the driver's seat is moved, when the light is out the "airbag" light comes on. I re-position the seat to my driving position, turn off the ignition and reach under the front seat from the rear. I push the connectors together under the seat and wiggle the wires and when I turn on the ignition the light stays out. I read about this on some forum and it seems to work. If I had time to pull the seat I could inspect the wiring harness and pins more thoroughly. I think there is a loose pin in one of the connectors.
