What is your question?
My mazda tribute will not start I charged the battery and replaced the starter. When I first replaced the starter it would try to turn over but it wouldn't start I tried a couple of more times and now it won't even try to turn over. I'm not sure if the battery is damaged or it's something else. It's a 2002 mazda tribute es 6 cyl. Please HELP!

so many things come into play here.voltage drop tests across the starter and alternator.load test the battery.spark, fuel compression tests
Ok... So what do I need to do to fix this problem because I really need to fix my car
take it to an independent shop.not sears or midas or dealership.it will save you money.
I'd rather fix it myself
totally understand.you tube some videos about voltage drop testing.that might be a good first step.ericthecarguy.com is a good one.if it does absolutelty nothing it could be a dead cell in the battery.
I just bought a new battery and tried it so that isn't it. Does the starter need to be on tight?
