What is your question?
My car at one time I went for engine wash and just that time it started shaking when I start it and fuel finishing fast. My Mechanic tried to look for a problem and found it was Ignition cable No. 4 not working.

Hello, you did not indicate which engine your Tribute had, but I will guess by your question that it is a 4 cylinder model. If you have an ignition cable not working, first, replace the cables. If this does not solve the problem, you have to dig deeper to find out if it is a problem with the number 4 cylinder in the engine, the cylinder head, the spark plug, the fuel injector, etc. Hopefully, the concern is isolated to the cable, especially since the vehicle had an engine wash -- this is an area where water can contaminate the connection if the cables are not sealing properly. Good luck.
Davy J M, The engine number is; YF - 214206, Petrol, Model No.: 2001, Year of make: 2002, Model: Tribute, Make: Mazda, Colour: Black. Please advise in details what I should do and what cable can ran with Cable No. 4 so if I have to buy No. 4 I buy with the other number to serve on the cost. Please explain to me what you meant by etc concerning the issue at hand am a lay man and I love my car I want it to be on the road next weekend? Best, John Zambia Cell: +260964049854
I'm sorry -- that doesn't tell me if it's a 4 cylinder or V6! My issue is: if you're not sure of that data, I sincerely recommend you seek the assistance of a service technician who can help you. Ignition cable replacement is not terribly complex, but if you're not familiar, you can have trouble. You would purchase a set of 5 wires, by the way, one for each of the four cylinders and one to the ignition coil. Strongly recommend you seek a local tech to help out. Good luck!
