Where is the neutral safety switch located on a 2001 mazda tribute V6 auto.

Well, you may not have found it in the Chilton because they don't call it a "neutral safety switch", I believe it is a two part system. 1 the transmission range sensor, and 2 the malfunction switch in the steering column opposite side of the key cylinder. The transmission range sensor is under the hood underneath the thermostat housing.
