Replaced upper and lower intake gaskets,now it idles rough and has no power.

Sounds like something did not go as planned with the intake work. Did you replace the gaskets to help with a misfire, because I find that these cars, the ones that use a plastic intake manifold, get cracks in the plastic manifolds themselves. I have replaced several, because I do Emissions work in CA and have seen many Check Engine Lights on for P0171 or misfire codes that lead to defective intake manifolds.
