What is your question?
When I start my car after its been sitting for a while (after a few hours have passed) a giant cloud of white smoke comes out of the tailpipe and it doesnt stop until the car warms up. I have to replenish the oil every four to five days. It seems to drive fine for the most part. But sometimes it feels like its pulling a bit. Ive had it checked out several times and no one can find the problem. I was told that they would have to open up the engine to find it... I got a quote of $3000 just to do that. Has anyone had this problem? Or can someone tell me what it could be? Do I need a whole new engine? Thanks for helping.

You don't need 3 thousand to open an engine. that's actually a new engine. try buying a 1,oil additives to eliminate the white smoke first. if that doesn't work, 2.change the spark plugs and wires, air filter, if that doesn't help 3. adjust the valves.
most likely a head gasket, if smoke smells like anti freeze then it'w most likely a head gasket, but could also be an intake gasket
Thanks. Its not overheating at all, no coolant leaking. Its been smoking for about 2 years... just gradually getting worse. I figured it was burning oil because I have to put oil in it every few days but I dont know where its leaking. Does the head gasket have anything to do with oil leaking? Sorry... I obviously dont know much... which is why Im here asking questions :)
